Dora is an internationally acclaimed American animation TV series that has managed to create a legion of fans worldwide, both children and adults alike. Created by Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh, and Eric Weiner, Dora the Explorer became a regular series on Nickelodeon Cable Television Network in 2000. Since then, millions around the globe have followed Dora, Diego and a host of her friends through a series of educational, entertaining and exciting adventures. It is an extremely interactive and engaging show and also seeks to teach Spanish along the way.

Meet Dora, a generous, adventurous and fun loving 7 year old whose curiosity and helpful nature find her in fresh new adventures every time. Dora seeks to unite everyone in harmony and does not hold grudges, even against the extremely wily and mischievous Swiper the Fox. She loves to read, loves to play Baseball and Soccer, and is an extremely good musician, especially at playing the flute. Dora is a Latina and is proud of her bilingual heritage. She has immense respect for her family, and voraciously seeks to improve and share a growing understanding of her culture and heritage. Her unending sense of wonder has earned her the title of ‘Dora the Explorer’. She often asks for ‘your’ help to solve puzzles and riddles, to get to her next destination.
